From Science to Soul

I come from trauma, and much of my life was spent seeking to understand why people cause harm to themselves and others. Science gave me part of the answer—I studied the brain, the nervous system, and how unspoken stories shape our patterns. My academic path led me through neuroscience and health policy at Mount Holyoke College, Columbia University, and USC, and later to affiliations with the Institute of Coaching at McLean and Harvard Medical School.

Yet knowledge alone wasn’t enough. I turned to art, breath, and ritual to truly heal. From this, ArtZen was born—a space where science, soul, and creativity meet to help people shift patterns and reconnect with themselves.

Alongside ArtZen, my work as a Life Coach continues this vision. Blending neuroscience with eastern philosophy, I guide individuals through coaching, workshops, and retreats—integrating evidence-based tools with creativity and compassion.

Because healing is possible—and no one should suffer simply for not knowing where to begin.
